I love the C&C series and this, the Playstation version of the first game is one of the best strategy games on the console. You get all the missions from the first game of course, but then, once you complete the game, you get a password that gives you all 15 missions from the Covert Operations expansion! Then you also get 6 special missions exclusive to the Playstation! So content-wise your getting loads which is great. The graphics are just the same as the PC and Saturn version (cant really tell the difference) and you get all the cool FMV too. The music is all there too, as with the sound. Now, here is the big problem. Command & Conquer for the Playstation has a major frame-rate issue which is instantly noticeable. Although you wont experience it when you are, say, building your base up (until it gets really big), it's when you get into a large battle, attack a big base or have lots of units on the screen at once. It can be very frustrating. If the game didnt have this annoying issue, it would be top-notch, but because the frame-rate drops rapidly, I just cant give the game a 9/10 score or higher. But, apart from that C&C for the Playstation is a brilliant game with tons of missions to play.
Pros: +All the original game's missions plus the Covert Operations and 6 exclusive PS1 missions +Good FMV, music and sound +It's Command & Conquer!
Cons: -No skirmish so you cant just have a quick battle -Really bad frame-rate issues -A mouse is better than a controller
