In the best episode of Keen yet, you try to save the galaxy from the evil claws of the armageddon machine.

Up until now there are only six games of the old best-seller Commander Keen to be released. Having played them all, clearly the best is the fifth episode, which is really thrilling.

While in the previous episode Keen saved the eight keepers of the oracle to find out what's going wrong with the hostile Shikadi, Keen now enters a Shikadi space station, called the Armageddon Machine, to deactivate it, and stop what is happening.

Keen uses the same engine as the previous episode, which is a 2D engine, but allows characters to move in a 3D environment. The gameplay is simple enough and very good, this time introducing mechanical enemies and tougher obstacles to overpass.

Keen 5 is probably one of the best platformers ever made for the PC, and I would be glad if there was a chance to relieve the series.
