ah turn based goodness. i haven't even seen a tbs since front mission4. it's not bad...clearly for the kids, but not bad
it is awfully simplistic, but what it does is solid and sound in design. the graphics ar all kinds of cartoony, and turn down the volume to avoid the circa 1990 cartoon action soundtrack. the voice acting is what you would expect so i try not to listen and just read what they say.
the combat is very basic, and the strategy can be lackluster...as in you can still basically just move as a single group snd swarm opponents. but like i said...genos is not going to win any awards, it's just an eggcellent diversion and short term time killer.
i have yet to get into the online goodness, and i fear there won't be much action there, but if there is a live opponent to be had, i imagine the entire character of the game will change, and may well be worth more than a look.
