Best of the series...for me.

Most consider Commandos 2 to be the best of the series. I find that part 1 was the best and that Commandos 2 took the game in a wrong direction.... but still a great game.

In Commandos 1 your squad of 6 men have a limited amount of specialties. Some may share silent kills but other specialties are reserved just for 1 commando.

In Commando 2 and 3 things like carrying bodies or silent take downs is used by everyone. I think this takes away from the commandos unique set of skills and team work.

One mission you have to sneak the diver into a camp, steal a raft, using the raft transport the spy to the camp to take the officer uniform, use the spy to turn off the electric fence, use the sapper to cut into the fence and steal the TNT, etc.

In Commandos sequel you probably could of just used 1 or 2 commandos instead of the whole team.

This dependence of skills for each other makes for a beautiful orchestrated plan.
