Well let me start by saying that the Condemned series is amazing. It's amazing that Sega made a game like this, I'm usually not a fan of their games, but this one was totally beyond my expectations! Unreal. This game has some pretty good horror and combat in it, my favorite kind being hand to hand combat of course, it's bloody and entertaining as hell! Blowing off enemies' heads with a shotgun may be fun, but nothing tops some flying fist combos, beating your enemies with some REALLY painful objects, and then using chain attacks and then grabbing him and using the environment to finish him off! Anyone notice the enemy wearing a Motorhead shirt under his hoodie? lol. Sorry that was a little random but I just wanted to know is anyone else noticed it, that's the first time I've ever seen a band tshirt in a game hehe. My favorite thing about this game would be the forensics, I don't know why, but I just love studying evidence. Completely well done! The real downer is that the level design is so confusing I ended up getting lost all the time and slightly frustrated me. The flashlight was a little too dim too.
Graphics? Phenomenal.. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant! Very good cutscenes! Insane gameplay graphics! Everything is done in full detail! Rust, floor, wet dirt, facial expressions and such! Well done Sega very well done indeed! They also succeeded in making Ethan Thomas look so much like a corpse too haha! In tight places the framerate actually speeds up a good deal, but the normal framerate is okay, especially for a horror game.
Sound. Impressive voice acting! Especially Ethan! The voice actors did a very good job of making the characters sound real and also matching their personalities too! The sound of a weapon smashing your enemies' face is just pleasing to the ears!
Overall a very good game. It has a lot of what I like in a game, especially gore and a lot of cursing. It didn't take long for me to beat the game, however I do repeat some levels on harder difficulties from time to time, along with trying to get perfect ratings too. Incredible game, very well worth a shot.
