One of the best Xbox games on the market.

User Rating: 9.6 | Conker: Live & Reloaded XBOX
Ah Conker. How much we loved you back in the n64 days. You were the last good n64 game to come out before the ps2 came and killed you. But hardly anyone bought you! People were too busy preordering their PS2's to care! I bought you and loved you for a short while. But then the PS2 took me away.

Flash forward a few years. Conker's back, and he's ready to kick ass again! And just like his first debut, Conker is getting shamefully overlooked. Maybe it was because of the 360 on the horizon, or how many good games were coming out when it was released. Well, even though it's tragically underrated, Conker still stands as one of the best titles the Xbox library has.

When you boot the game up, the first thing you'll notice about the game is the amazing graphics that look amazingly good for this generation. The fur looks fuzzy, the characters are modeled insanely well. Rare always delivers a great visual look, and is always consistent with the style they use in their games. The visuals are top notch, and don't waiver throughout the game. I've never encountered any bits of slowdown during singleplayer or multiplayer. Graphics in this gam are amazing, and easily stand out as the best the Xbox has to offer

Sound quality in this game is just as solid as the visual experience. The score driving the game is top notch, and really gets you into the gameplay experience. One thing that bugged me though was the fact that in some scenes the music could barely be heard over the sound effects in the game (which are also good), but this is a minor complaint. Overall, sound quality is excellent.

Now onto the main event! Gameplay. Ok, if you've played through the original Conker, you'll be either pleased or displeased to know that the single player from the original n64 is game is back and pracitcally untouched. If you never played the original game, try it! Even though it's been a few years, the game still stands as a great and innovative game in the platform genre. Even if you have played through the game, you might want to play through tit again to see how well the humor and gameplay has held up. As good as the single player is, the multiplayer is really waht makes this game shines. The scenarios are excellent, and focus on a team structured mode with character classes, vehichle etc. The game pits the Teddies versus the SHC, and is extremely complex and simple at the same time. The multiplayer alone makes this game excellent, but couple that with the good single player mode, and you have an excellent game on your hands.

Over all Conker does have its shortcomings (Often repetitive stoy and sometimes bland levels), this game easily stand as one of the Xbox's best entries to date.
