Doesn't really have that RARE feeling, but reminds you of it...
Not Recommend---Anyone self-conscience about remakes or didn't like the original Conker game
Conker: Live and Reloaded is a remakes of Conker's Bad Fur Day from the Nintendo 64. If anyone didn't know already, I am one of the BIGGEST Rare fans. They're games consist of most of my favorites, and I respect them for that (I even enjoyed Grabbed by the Ghoulies). Now, I don't know if anyone knows what I'm talking about, but when playing Rare's original games on the N64 (my favorite system by the way) you kind of get this Rare feeling. You just know that no other company could have made a game like this just because of how it feels. I don't know what it is about it (I'm guessing the way they looked and the great music that came with it), but it pulls you in right away and is really fun. I myself have never played the original Conker's Bad Fur Day, but from videos and screens it seems to have that old Rare feeling. Sadly when I played this game, I didn't get that feeling at all. It seems as if it made an unnecessary move to a new system just for what Microsoft thought was right. Personally, I think that Microsoft buying Rare was the worst decision in gaming history. Rare's games don't fit Microsoft's consoles whatsoever, but it happened. This game is still really fun, and here and there I can kind of imagine that Rare feeling and how it would have felt when playing the original, but this game just seems so unnecessary to me. The graphics do look really good, but this cartoony game doesn't seem to need all the fancy lighting effects and extra stuff added to it. It has a new online mode (the only new feature, I believe) which is ok, but too short and way too confusing sometimes. It had potential, but it seems like it had to get slapped in late in development. Luckily, you can play the online mode offline against bots incase you don't have Xbox Live (like me). After all of these complaints, all I need to say is that this game is fun nonetheless.
Conclusion---Unnecessary, but still really fun for people who never played the original (last 1st-party game to be released on the Xbox, I believe).
