Conker is one of the most clever games you could ever experience.

User Rating: 9 | Conker's Bad Fur Day N64
Conker's Bad Fur Day may seem similar to some other Rare games you might have experienced on the Nintendo 64 in the past: Donkey Kong 64 and Banjo- Kazooie. Rare took dark comedy, great music, platforming and voice acting together into one memorable game.

At first, Conker may seem like a funny and simple concept (which, in some aspects, it is). But Conker proves to be just as challenging and rewarding as many other games out there. Alcoholic and sexual innuendos are the prime spotlight of hidden humor here, and just to see what and where you will be in the game makes it all worth continuing through it's 10 hour plus story.

Throughout the game you will encounter Safe Zones. You will encounter a patch on the ground with a "B" on it. You press the "B" button on your controller, and he either pulls out a slingshot, a bow and arrow, toilet paper, or you-name-it. These are necessary to continue your adventure in the game, and will bring action to a funny and enjoyable sprawl, and defines the definition of "WTF?"

Platforming can get tricky at first, but you will get the hang of it. The controls are perfect for whatever you are controlling in the game. Pacing and discovering the theme of the entire game could turn some "serious" gamers off, but if they continue the experience, they will soon realize it's more than just cheap spoofs.

Conker's soundtrack is very interesting. The game constantly carries this Looney Tunes happiness appeal, while being completely adulterated in every sense. From the happy, upbeat, forties-inspired tune of the overworld, to a song of a man named Mighty Poo, Conker delivers the absolutely incredible voice acting, as well as the hilarious and well-done pieces of song.

This was the game that was lucky to see the light of day, especially on a Nintendo system. It is so very surprising that Nintendo would allow Rare to bring out such a potty-mouthed, sexual game such as this (it is also a wonder why Nintendo allowed Manhunt 2 for the Wii). Conker's Bad Fur Day is so unique and special in just about every way, and it should not be missed by those gamers of valid age.
