Well, I haven't played this game a lot, but I can tell you, this is a very underrated game. Basically, this is a good racing game for Corvette fans and people who just want pure Arcade racing for a good price. Playing this game reminds me of older arcade racers like Ridge Racer, etc. where it’s more about the racing and less about stories, etc. This is NOT supposed to be a simulation, I don’t know why reviewers are bashing this game. The game runs at a great frame rate, especially for a PS2 game, and it looks great. The game plays good, even though some of the handling on cars is a bit slippery at times. The loading times are also a little bit long. Other than that, it’s a good game if you just want pure Arcade racing. I just don’t see anything wrong with this game, except Gamespot, who tries to come up with 20 million ways to bash a game that is not Gran Turismo, Halo, or Grand Theft Auto. Any Corvette fan or racing fan with a tight budget should check this game out. Just don't expect anything really deep and simulation style like Gran Turismo. You won’t be disappointed (too much).
Got some great looking cars in this game and it is fun, it just could be so much more. There are so many really good racing games out there already, why make one that has the potential and falls just a little bit short.... Read Full Review
