*****HOOPSTAR789'S REVIEW ON COUNTER-STRIKE CONDITION ZERO*****
1. GRAPHICS- This game has a a minor improvement from the original Counter-Strike, overall the game looks closely like the its predecessor but some of the weapon animations have improved like the M4A1, overall the game is not a bad looking game and is still one of the best Golden Source looking games but they could have improved the graphics for a game that was also released for Xbox that same year.
2. GAMEPLAY- This game plays just like its predecessor, smooth and perfect, this game still has some of the best controls ever to be put in to a video game, the keys can be modded for anyone's needs. The game's A.I. remains one of the smartest A.I.'s in the Multiplayer Golden Source games. The A.I. will flank and fire upon you until you are dead. The story A.I. however can be quite frustrating as they play just like the Multiplayer A.I. and can get way to many cheap shots from hiding behind a door and cutting you open with a sword or a suicide bomber exploding out of nowhere killing you instally next to the A.I. getting potshots with a MK.23. Other than that the gameplay is pretty solid.
3. STORY- This game doesn't really have a story, Though the game does feature a CAMPAIGN, all you do is just jump from location to location fighting terrorism and rescuing hostages, Even though it can be fun to go through the game once or twice, there isn't really any point to the story and to be honest, I think this was just an add on for the people on Xbox who didn't have Xbox live and Valve just decided to add it in there for the hell of it.
4. MULITPLAYER- Even though the original Counter Strike was released 10 years ago, fighting terrorism still doesn't get old, this game stuck with the whole bomb defusal, hostage rescuing, eliminating multiplayer mayhem like its predecessor did, and it still works just as well. This game pits off two teams, one that must plant a bomb, and the other to kill the team planting the bomb, all players on the team are given a default amount of money and are given the option to purchase weapons, grenades, and body armor, then the two teams must kill each other until the last man standing on one of the teams is alive which will result in the last man standing earning his team a victory. Every time a player scores a kill or an object, or even getting ICED, the player earns money which gives him more options to purchase better weapons and eventually having enough to buy the BS AWP. Overall this game's Multiplayer will have you coming back again and again for another 10 years. Yeah, it is that fun.
5. OVERALL- Overall, this game is a good Online shooter for FPS fanatics, however don't expect nothing new from this game from the original Counter-Strike beside a Story mode that you can complete in 2 hours at the most. This game suffers from lack of new content and little or no Graphical improvement, but this game is a definite pickup for Hardcore Counter-Strike fans and now you get it as a freebie when you Purchase the orginal Counter Strike.
