CS:S really brings the sense of challenge and needed teamwork to the table.

Yet it isn't exactly challenging in a "good" way.

They say the original CS was fun, addictive, innovative, and challenging. They say it took actual skill to play CS and be successful.

But concur when they say it takes no skill to be a successful player in CS:S.

At the start of each round of each game, you will be able to buy equipment and weapons. Money is earned by killing, winning, and even losing. There are two teams: Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists. The terrorists must plant bombs and/or keep the hostages away from the counter-terrorists. The counter-terrorists must stop them by whichever means and/or rescue hostages.

All of this is done while shooting eachother. Shooting eachother with AWESOME guns. The weapon design is really realistic, and all of the weapons are fun to use.
Stronger weapons come higher-priced, and using an expensive sniper rifle that doesn't lack ANY promise whatsoever...is a dream come true. (I won't go into detail. YOU gotta experience it.)

Dying means no respawning for the rest of the round, and to add to the challenge, there are no healing stations of medpacks. You have the choice of buying armor, but as for health, you get one life. So DON'T waste it.

Ah, but why have I given this game a SEVEN??? Why??? Isn't it against God that I am doing this??? Well, I have a reason.

This game is definitely challenging...but it's challenging for the players being killed by headshots from long range made by shotguns, and challenging for those who lose one round, come back with dual pistols only, and get practically sniped again with a heavy machine gun.

1. The hitboxes for headshots are too big.
2. A lot of times, you won't be able to tell whether or not you're aiming at someone's head from far away with a normal assault rifle, but THEY can still get YOU with random shots. Keep in mind, however, YOU could be the one picking off random headshots.
3. I know I spoke of armor and "challenge" in a positive way, but seriously, isn't it already a given that CT's and terrorists go into battle with armor right at the start??? Why buy armor when you should already have it?? And come on, both sides are aware of eachother's presence on the map anyway, so WHY NOT ARMOR THEMSELVES AT THE BEGINNING WITHOUT HAVING TO PURCHASE IT??!

3.5. What, you're telling ME that the CT weapons vendors aren't even supplying their comrades with ample amount of supplies?? AREN'T THEY ALL FIGHTING FOR A BETTER CAUSE??!

Graphics are...surprisingly advanced for a game of its age. Textures from the Source engine were very detailed, and awesome physics were put in.

Overall..............This can be very addicting and fun, yet it can be a letdown in so many ways.
