What can I say about this game that hasn't already been said? How about...this is the most soothing game I've ever played. Soothing? How can someone say that? Well, I can say that because playing this game allows me the opportunity to vent all my aggravation, sometimes with the first "BOOM HEADSHOT!" Psychological benefits aside, this game is fun, the graphics are great, and (assuming you find a good server), your teammates provide a great deal of help and know-how. Not to say there aren't some people who are going to call you "blocker" and curse your mother's name...but they are far and few between. I've come across many guys (and seven girls) who want to help you play a better game. For you Graphics geeks, you'll love the little details (like the wrinkles around the fingernails and the accuracy of the shadows) that proliferate the game. And the download! OMG, the downloads! My P90 skin is probably my favorite (since I'm a P90 fan). But there's something for everyone. Want a classic look to your AK? You can find it! Want the chrome to really shine on you Deagle? You can get that too!
Now, a word of warning...as the carving at the temple to Apollo at Delphi said "Nothing in Excess." In our time, we would say "too much of a good thing." This game is ADDICTIVE! It's listed as one of the top five most addictive games ever played. Ask my wife...she'll confirm that! So enjoy, but in moderation! Go to school, go to work, go on dates! Play when you can, only. And don't wait for bargain bins...get it NOW!
