The most popular online game ever has finally made it to the x-box but the final game was a small let down. There are alot of cool things, but mostly it is counter-strike for the x-box nothing more. Lets start with the graphics, absolute crap, there are no excuse for the graphics. Everything is very low detailed, Valve did not use the xbox's power at all. But i guess this is to keep lag down, but still there are no excuse for graphics like that on the xbox, heck the thing can hold doom three, i mean come on. The gameplay is the exact same as on the computer. The aiming system is a plus in a circle, not the old counter-strike crosshair we love. Still even though it is the exact same as on the pc, it is still very fun because it never gets old. The controls are solid and responsive, and chooseing weapons is very easy and fast. The sound has been dulled down for some reason. They could have just used the pc but they had to go and record new sounds for some of the guns. Really this game is just a port of counterstriike condition zero, nothing more. But the game does have bots so you offline people looking for some counter-strike action can get it but the bots are dumb and wont provide much of a challange when you get good. Overall this game was a letdown for me, but it is not a terrible game, just not good. If you are counter-strike fanatic you must have this game, for everybody else just get it for your pc.
