I have to admit, the first time I played this game I wasn't too impressed. But after you get going and start building up your abilities it becomes a different game. A lot of fun! Everything gets bigger and badder. You go from being able to pull a car door off it's hinges and throw it, to being able to lift the car and throw it. Just wait until you can jump 30 feet in the air while blowing up a semi with a rocket launcher. It's a blast. (lame pun intended) As each ability gets higher, the more crazy stuff you can do. And no other game has made me feel vertigo like Crackdown when you're jumping around from skyscraper to skyscraper. There really isn't much of a story, but this game isn't about story. It's about running around killing bad guys, and blowing things up in ridiculous ways.
