Ostensibly a puzzle game, and yet...
Powerups ranged from missiles to extra balls, and some were decidedly unhelpful. You could pause time, which froze the enemies on the screen. Sometimes a little superman would come and if you caught him with your paddle, you would be transported to another level. I think he was activated by time or score. And sometimes, as this was a password based game, you could hit the sides of the levels, and letters would come out, which I vaguely recall unlocked some secret level / powerup.
In truth I don't know if this game is good or not. There was no distracting music, but the bricks all made a different note when hit. The gameplay was incredibly basic, but it had so much else going on it was hard to keep track.
Almost no one I know has it, even dedicated NES owners, but someone has stuck it on emulator called NEScafe. Go play it and see for yourself.
