Platforming had moved on but Crash Bandicoot stayed the same.

Oh, the lovable Crash Bandicoot. You can't hate him really. The original Playstation games were actually very innovative for their time but the problem was he never seemed to change, you got the same game every year. By the time PS2 came out Crash was yesterday's news. Even Naughty Dog had moved on with the brilliant Jak & Daxter series. With The Wrath of Cortex we get the same game again only on PS2. The levels are remarkably similar but still enjoyable. There are some nice smooth graphics too. But overall there's nothing much to say about it as it is a bad game but not one you can really hate. But Crash Bandicoot is best put to rest as Jak & Daxter kick his ass with no problems whatsoever.
