This game may have similarities to Mario but doesn't every platformer? Let's see... collect 100 coins in Mario for an extra life. Same with Crash and Sonic. You guys really need a reality check on what this game truely was! It may be nothing but a classic now but back then it was a breakthrough of technology! It set the bar for the future of games. Heck! If it wasn't for Naughty Dog's Crash Bandicoot, we might not be playing out PlayStation 3's right now. Crash Bandicoot pushed technology and prooved that amazing things could be accomplished on a simple system. Ever since then video game devolopers have been pushing the envelope making their games better, and better. This game deserves much higher than a whimpy 6.8. It was just better than any other game of it's time! Tons of levels, tons of unlockables, ton's of secrets, creative levels, and a compelling plot behind it all. Nothing can beat the classics. NOTHING!
