Pretty fun, but there's little variety.

Crash Bash marked the end of Crash Bandicoot's streak of amazing games. It wasn't necessarily bad, it just was nowhere near as good as its predecessors. The minigames are pretty fun, but there are only a few types of games, and you'll spend all your time playing variations of these same minigames, they just get harder and have some other little thing added on each time. Not to say they aren't fun, running around on little polar bears knocking opponents off the ice and throwing crates of TNT at people make for pretty good times, but that's about half of the minigames right there. The adventure mode is decent, and like in Crash Team Racing there is still that bit of platforming in how you go between levels (much less so than before though). The adventure has trophies, gems, and crystals to collect, and there are a lot of those to go around. Overall, Crash Bash is just a good game. It's fun, but that fun isn't spread out over much variety.
