Crash Bash is the best party game that does not have the word "Mario" in it.

User Rating: 8.3 | Crash Bash PS
Crash Bash is loads of fun, and is one of the most enjoyable multiplayer experiences on the PS1.

Gameplay: There are 7 game types with 4 minigames in each, which makes 28. They are very varied and just plain fun. Crate Crush has you throwing boxes at each other and dodging missiles, holes, explosinves, and penguins. Pogo- A-Gogo has you jumping around covering areas with your color and cashing them in. Polar Slide has you piloting a polar bear and knocking each other off of ice. There are also tank battles Bomberman style, 4-way Pong, Kart racing, and Gladiator Battles to round out the 7. The difficulty is inconsistent; the games are all very easy but the boss battles are crazy hard. There are very few game modes.

Story: I played this game a while ago and forgot.

Graphics: They are great for a PS1 game, with 3D levels and blocky characters, with decent enviroments.

Audio: Not so hot. There is grunting, moaning, yelling, and taunting in this game, as well as primitive excuses for music.

Multiplayer: This game is best played in multiplayer because of the inconsistenty of the AI and that you can taunt each other. Take it from me, this game is a blast at parties.

Overall, I absolutely adore Crash Bash. I think that everyone should try this creative game out, it is easily one of the top 25 PS1 games.
