I don't see why you people say this game sucks.
There are 15 tracks with over 20 cars, lots of weapons and classic Crash 3-D Platforming. Smashing boxes to get coins instead of the somewhat repetitive but vintage Wumpa Fruit is a better idea. You can destroy boxes, collect coins, explore lands, grab crystals, unlock secrets and play the racing tracks as well as other modes such as Crashinator, Rolling Thunder, Fast Lap and Run and Gun. Not to mention the new battle arenas and stunt arenas. The minigames are awesome too and have a feeling of an actual theme park, somewhat. The frame rate is good although it can sometimes get a little choppy. There is good detail in the cars and you can unlock new cars for the characters with different colours, shapes and enhancements. You can buy costumes for characters and I like that idea.
The graphics at times can be sketchy at times when platforming. The graphics on the racing tracks are good with detailed cars, weapons, projectiles, powerups and classic Crash Bandicoot colourful race detail that stands out because of its unique, flashy colours. The platforming graphics are good but can sometimes get sketchy.
The sound is pleasing enough on the race tracks and when platforming with humorous sound effects, music that suits the tracks and arenas. Overall good sound.
For it's price it's pleasing enough. It would appeal better for younger people or kids but that's OK.
If you are a Crash Bandicoot fan I would rent this first.
I just flat-out bought it. If you're absolutely sure this is the game for you, then buy it. Your choice not mine
