My favourite game ever at the time
Crash team racing is a mascot karting game, which me and my mates used to spend most of our free time playing (along with crash bash and street fighter collection on the PS).
The basic story is that you have to beat Nitrous Oxide (an alien who just happens to be a racer) in a race, if you win, he leaves Earth alone, if he wins, he's gonna turn Earth into a concrete parking lot.
Of course there is more than 1 race, to get there you have win numerous races and bosses, to prove that you are worthy to defend earth in the final race. You can choose between 8 characters for the story mode, all of which have different advantages and weaknesses. ?There are also other characters and tracks to unlock through story mode, which can be used in GP's, time trials or multiplayer.
All the races and bosses are jam-packed with crazy weapons and boosts, all of which make CTR a highly entertaining game. However, it is even better in multiplayer.
