User Rating: 4.9 | Crazy Taxi GC
The game is straightforward. You have four taxi drivers to pick from, and you drive and pick up passengers. The customers will tell you where they want to go and you'll have to get there speedily. If you get there quickly, you'll get a bonus. On the other hand, if you take too long, your clients will jump out of your cab. You can earn bonuses for completing combos. There is an arcade mode and an original mode. There is also a new city. There are mini-games called crazy box. Some of the mini-games are a good learning experience, but others demand faultless moves, and they are sometimes exasperating. There aren’t many incentives offered and it would have been nice to have multiplayer. The cars and buildings look either great or good, but other surroundings are a disaster. Whether good or bad, the game has breakneck speed. The songs played are from Bad Religion and Offspring. The sound effects are satisfactory. The dialogue is at times unnecessary and your driver's speech gets repetitive and preposterous. The game has a respectable framerate.
