This game is simple enough for a casual gamer yet deep enough for the diehards. A trait of all good arcade games.
This game doesn't screw around with a story or anything. You just press start, pick a cab driver, pick a game mode and you are driving around making crazy money. The simple pleasures of being able to start playing a game without having to wait through intros and whatnot certainly add to the games universal appeal. There is a bit of a learning curve to the game as well and as you learn new maneuvers and discover different shortcuts, the game becomes more addictive. In addition to the main mode which features two different areas there are about a dozen driving challenges that help you to learn the more complex driving techniques.
There isn't much to say about this game other than it is a great way to entertain yourself when you have 15 minutes to kill or you just need a break from your story heavy RPGs and shooters.
I almost forgot to mention the soundtrack which features The Offspring and Bad Religion songs. If that's your cup of tea as it is mine then there is another reason to give this game a look.
