Crisis Core is a great game. Enough said...
Ok, onto the details. Crisis Core is a solid game. It is a prequel to Final Fantasy 7 and it goes in depth about Cloud's past and the other members of the FF7 cast. The main character is an up and coming SOLDIER Zack Faire, and he is determined to rise through the ranks and become a 1st Class SOLDIER, a hero, like his fellow comrades, Sephiroth, Angeal, and Genesis. The story is completely immersive; I was so curiously, I wanted to absorb every line, every detail in this story. The gameplay worked well, playing like Final Fantasy 12 and Kingdom Hearts, but no waiting like in FF12. The most unique part of Crisis Core's battle system is probably the Slot Machine, also known as the DIGITAL MIND WAVE or DMW; all your summons, limit breaks, and leveling rely on the Slot Machine's numbers. Does this make you a little hesitant? Have no fear, the system works quite well and I've found the leveling to be even and fair throughout the entire game. Limits and Summons work well too, but the only downside is you can't control. The game is only about 20 hours long, meaning that you'll finish it fairly fast; however there are literally tons of side quests for you to finish. Oh, and a little hint: MAKE SURE TO DO PLENTY OF SIDEQUESTS IN BETWEEN THE MAIN QUEST! THEY WILL HELP YOU IN THE LONG RUN!

Crisis Core is a great game. It's well worth your money and a great addition to your game library.
