Here is a game which shows just how much classic games mean to gamers who have played and enjoyed them. The story of FFVII stuck with me and it is one of my favorite games of all time, while Crisis Core is a more condensed game than FFVII I still felt that it told its story well while including a fun to play format that ranged in difficulty and allowed for players to include strategy and work through a large amount of optional content. It also has helped to keep the FFVII legacy alive and the hope that it may be remade in the near future is still a possibility. But that aside the game works well on the psp and is one of the better buys for the system giving replayability and a lot of information to be found about the FFVII world. The story is a little confusing if you havent played the original and the confinement of the character to only certain environments becomes somewhat repetitive over time but other than that i have no criticisms of the game.
