Not as good as the original, but still holds a certain charm...
So here's the story. After royally kicking the evil baron Dante's Ass in the first game, Croc recieves a little message in a bottle thats some kind of clue about his parents (You know, the same parents that ABANDONED him)
Suddenly they're interested. Bloody cheek.
So, Croc sets off on another *Epic* adventure across four gobbo islands (And a secret one =p) to find his parents and stop baron dante...AGAIN.
After completing the original 100%, i found Croc 2 to be a bit... different to say the least.
The new hub system works well, but it can sometimes be a bit confusing to track your progress.
The game has frustrating moments but, is pretty straight-forward and simplistic for the most part.
I would have to recommend this game to children, because of it's bright colours and cheesy storyline. Although, they may get frustrated at some of the more tricky parts.
Getting 100% in this game will probably take you less time than in the original, as long as you remember to stock up on your jellies and clockwork gobbo's!
So you know what? I liked it, but my taste in games is a bit screwed so... =p
Give it a try! See what you think!
I got my copy for £2.99 in gamestation, so its worth checking out.
