Crysis 2 is a huge, unquantifiable step backwards for Crytek.

This game was seriously underwhelming after having witnessed the marvel that is the original Crysis. The graphics in Crysis 2 are actually worse than the graphics of a lot of console games. Uncharted 2 looks better than this game by a long shot, and was not plagued with extremely low-res textures, poor lighting and flickering shadows nearly every step of the way. The music is repetitive and boring. The sound effects are mediocre. Probably one of the most disappointing features is the interactivity - or lack thereof. When I shoot a glass window with a gun, I expect it to at least make a mark, rather than disappear or go through it like it was thin air. When I shoot a car tire, I expect it to puncture. And there are the glitches. Glitches, everywhere, from disappearing objects to AI getting stuck on top of fences. Not to mention the horrible pacing of the story, the poor multiplayer plagued with cheaters, and the list goes on and on. This was obviously a rush job, and a major one at that. Why would you do this to yourselves, Crytek?
