An ode to Half-Life
Controls: Finally, a FPS that follows the Call of Duty control scheme. With so many people playing CoD (and it's a classic layout), the controls are super easy to pick up and play. Getting use to the different power suits takes a little bit.. but it's worked into the controls nicely.
Campaign: It felt longer than it actually was... honestly felt like Half-Life. The story was so-so, but the cinematic and immersion level are awesome.
Sound: Great, simply put. Not going to go out and rewrite history but still very nice.
Online: I have only played a few games, but the ideas and concepts are good. The only problem is that it's not Call of Duty. That sounds dumb, but after playing something so perfected like CoD, it really is hard to top that or get the same sense of polish from others games.
