GO STRAIGHT TO THE MULTIPLAYER
the campaign is good...but not great.or otherwise not what it should be.the up side is that ur suit is awesome reguardless of what mode u do.the down side is that every ally in the story has such a small part that u easily forget about them except for the doctor u follow throughout the story.also there are 2 very different types of enemies in the game.the cell AI and the alien AI.in other words the exact opposite.the cell are the enemy militia that posses halo-like suits and armored vehicles.trust me,the vehicles will be the only opposition.i dont think ive ever fought enemies so dumb that they will walk head-first into walls and rails.its not fun shooting at enemies that dont respond no matter what u do.not all of them but about half will do that.
now the aliens are a whole different story.in fact, they are so smart that they can track u down no matter where u take cover.thats why its best to use stealth and keep it moving.once when i was in a huge room with only dim lights and broken sets of pillars as i was hiding behind one and when i peeked around the corner to scope out the aliens one walked right up to me.i quickly switched to stealth mode and dashed into a small corridor in the same room.based on average shooters,id expect him tojust forget about me but a few seconds later i hear a radar go off and then footsteps creeping closer and closer becoming louder each step.all of the sudden the big metallic, tentacaled creature appered through the doorway and lunged at me but a swift melee attack to the face took care of that.another time was when in an underpass i silently moved through the water in stealth mode and then i heard the radar go off again.all of the sudden one of them appeard behind me in a flash without warning.that kind of opposition makes the game fun and gives the story more meaning.yet still the story is a bit hard to follow and the objective is not always clear.so in the end the campaign is good for its action but not for its storyline.
