I can't recommend Crystalis any higher. I'm not normally a reviewer but this is a game that deserves a spot as one of the top video games ever made, and I had to write a review to share it with people who haven't played it yet. The battles and bosses are ingenious, the storyline wonderful, everything about it is amazing. It's like a mix of everything good between The Secret of Mana and Zelda.

I've been playing games since the Texas Instruments and Atari when I was a little boy. I own all 3 current systems and still play games almost every night. I've played a lot in my life and this is one of only about 3 games I'd give an absolute perfect score to. So when I put a 10 on here, it's not a score I give to just any game. If you haven't tried it yet, try it, and don't be put off by it's 8-bit presentation. Behind this old-school game is the most perfect gem I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing.
