Cursed Mountain is a fine piece of work, though rough controls and some dumb AI leave it dry....
Okay then, Cursed Mountain is totally one of the best Wii games out there, but there are some problems with the game, but not much, so lets start with the good stuff...
The story of Cursed Mountain is that this guy's brother has started to climb a mountain in place for another explorer, but he's reported dead. So Frank goes and searches for him, the god there isn't pleased and wants Frank to leave. So now ghosts are everywhere and trying to kill or scare away Frank. You start with a pickaxe as your weapon, but will get a sorta like ancient gun that shoots energy and straps itself to ghosts to perform a spell that destroys ghosts.
The ghosts can rarely be hard, they move slowly, (as well as Frank, but we'll there later) Fall back after one swipe or shot with the energy gun. Controls aren't all that bad, just unresponsive when you do the spell, like if you thrust forward, they take that as if the Wii remote was shot up in the air, the nunchuck is unresponsive as well which is a bad thing. Frank moves as fast as if he got up out of bed and didn't have coffee, which is bad since the ghosts have the ability to teleport closer to you and you have to fumble around to find them or your dead. There are minigames like an escape sequence when you have to get out of a sacrifice, but the controls make this a bust too. All in all, Cursed Mountain is the first real horror game on the Wii, but has some issues.
The Good- Nice Story, change of pace from light gun shooters, best graphics on the Wii.
The Bad- Bad Controls, dumb AI, Frank is slow as ever.
