Fantastic Idea...poor execution
Sorry guys, this game sucked.
lets start off with the good things:
AMAZING storyline. Cursed Mountain had a fantastic idea for a story and really did well when it came it polishing it off. The visuals and graphics and Frames per second were impressive for a wii game. The Environment looks great and the player doesnt look like a Final fantasy 7 character.
On to the bad:
After admiring the graphics and epic storyline. You'll probably throw your control at your TV. Why? Because Cursed mountain uses certain gestures in order for you to combat your enemies or solve puzzles. Sounds like a good idea, unfortunately the controls are so unresponsive that you'll die over and over and over again because your controls are just ignoring you completely.
Sometimes it feels like they tried too hard to make it look good that at times the screen is so foggy or blurry that you can barely make out whats going on. That can also get very annoying
Overall: "It sounded like a good idea at the time" is what Cursed Mountain producers are probably thinking right now. Great story idea, great idea for control gestures. Unfortunately they didnt have the power to really make it work. Controls and obscured graphics destroyed this game.
Rental at best.
