While Custom Robo isn't a game for everyone, it pulls off solid, core gameplay you won't find in any other game. Unique.

The Custom Robo series has been often criticized for lacking core gameplay mechanics and failing to deliver a worthwhile experience. Scratch that, Custom Robo on the Gamecube fixes many flaws from it's predecessors, while keeping in tact the lovable intense battles.

Pros:
- the story is never cheesy and is quite good
- the controls are fantastic
- graphics suit the game
- visual design complement the battles
- arenas are very creative and vary
- tones of weapons and customization
- great replay value and lots of modes

Cons:
- some movement glitches and frame-rate drops
- can get repetitive
- cpu's are very cheap
- weapons are not balanced
- some customization parts are pointless
- difficulty in later stages is unfair

As I said, it's not a game that everyone will enjoy. It has it's flaws but does well concerning intense and varied gameplay. There are lots of modes to play and the difficulty only lacks later on.
