The good parts of this game is the gameplay, if you have liked DDR gameplay, then you will know what to expect in this game. The formula is the same, you have the arrow cursors and then you step on the appropriate arrow that comes to the cursor. If you are a beginner, then you can go to easy mode and they cut out a lot of the stepping patterns for you so that you can get the basic. You can change the arrow colors so that you can see if they are 1/4 beat arrows, or 1/8 beats, or 1/16 beats. Once you get to the harder difficulties, that is when the steps get to the point where you are going everywhere on the dance pad, there will be steps where you would have to step left and up and then right and down, just a lot of different patterns. The song choices are really nice, you got songs like 'Go West', 'Kids in America', and some classics from other DDR games like the MAX UNLIMITED song. There is a really cool mission-based type thing where you will have to do many crazy things like play a song when the arrows are moving up then down then up and down, or you cant hit a certain arrow. If you have a group of people to play this game with, then this is the game where you are going to get the most out of. The edit mode makes a return and it is still as good as it has ever been, you just edit your songs and try to make the worst possible rhythm that you could come up with
The bad parts of this game is if you play too long [on the Dance Pad] you can sweat too much and get fatigue really easily. Its just a lot of the same, you just play songs and then you are done, you dont really get anything good off of completing every song.
Overall another great DDR game by Konami and another great party, if you like the series, then its worth playing.
