Pretty awesome game for those who are looking for a good calorie-burner game
In general DDR is a neat, solid game, It does what it always have done the best (gets people moving) the music is pretty neat (even considering I'm a rock type of person) , and since I'm still playing the game, in every session it keeps surprising me and engaging me in a new challenge.
The "Club Mode" is a playing mode that I consider an outstanding way to make people develop very rapidly in the game, it is a very challenging mode because there's no possibility to change the difficult settings, it simply changes with the way the player is doing through the track set. In my personal opinion this is the best mode because the challenge is always there, there's a great rate of satisfaction when you get a set list done and it always puts you in the next step of difficulty.
The Move addition in the game is a pretty interesting detail, it has its own game mode, the "Move & Step", and in an overall manner it is fun and challenging, just like when, in older versions of the game, you decide to play with two dance mats.
The visual aspect of the game is good, it seems that the game has been developed just to look good, not to distract the players (personally, I appreciate that). A very cool aspect through the game play is the chance to look at yourself dancing (if you have a PlayStation Eye connected, of course) you can just seriously dance or goof around while playing, I'm pretty sure that this aesthetic aspect will find fans in both ways (modeling or goofing).
The "Dance Off Mode" is pretty fun, it is the way to dance with extra friends with only one mat. It's a turn-based game mode where each player have to do their best on not missing steps, because there's some kind of roulette spinning while players doesn't miss in their turns, because when they do, they start to get disadvantaged tricks, like: speeding arrows, invisible arrows, mixed arrows, higher difficulty, etc. there's also the thing that you can affect other players score while not missing in the steps with the same color of the other players. A pretty fun way to play multiplayer.
Anyway, In my personal opinion, this game has done it good for the fans, even with those that had a long time without playing previous versions (like me, I haven't played any DDR since DDR MAX for Ps2).
It could possibly bring some few new players to get interested with, but I think the work is done just making happy the good Ol' fans around. It is just like that, plain and simple, for people who still want to dance over a mat and sweat it for a while.
