Worthwhile Clone

For one whom bases all action adventure games against G.o.W. releases and despite the "spot's" review, I took a chance and invested in this game a few days ago. I am NOT disappointed to date. The pretext of the game caught my attention from the start and got me involved. Albeit, I have a 12 hour a day job and only get a few hours a week to game, I have made it an effort to make time to get further into this game. Maybe some of the review are correct and it loses intensity later on, but so far I am appreciative of this release. The visuals are excellent for the most part, but I don't really care for the cartoonish cut scenes describing the lead in to his situation, the game play is impressive enough. I thihk the story line is fine, heck, how many of us base the actual enjoyment of a game on the story line in any great context, what matters is that you want to pass the next corner or open the next door. Maybe I will change my assessment later in the game, but for now as a God of War lover, I am not disappointed and it fits the genre that I appreciate. It helps that I didn't expect it to be GoW, just similar as are several other recent popular releases (i.e; darksiders, which I appreciate also). So, if you are unsure, rent it, I would be willing to bet most will follow up with a purchase.
