Good bye, Final Fantasy.

I've played the first game of Dark Cloud and I got bored of it. The game was just too blank, the enemies and characters never have voices, until the sequel. Dark Cloud 2 is the best RPG I've ever played since Final Fantasy 7. Like in Sims City, you have the really cool abiltiy to make a town and then, actually move people into the house. Also, on your quests, you play as the wrench-wielding, gun-blazing inventor named Maximillian and also, the red-haired sword-slashing sorceress, Monica. To go with these two characters, are about 16 characters all with their own strengths and weaknesses that will help you through your adventure, like an artist who can sell you paints for the houses that you build to a rabbit who can detect monsters called 'mimics' that are disguised as treasure chests. There are hundreds of items to collect, along with weapons, spells, and weapon attachments that give your weapons different elemental powers. The game's graphics are amazing and the hit detection is the best I've seen from an action/RPG. This game has some of the best voice acting I've ever seen. There are very few enemy models from the first game that are renamed for the second game. The bosses take lots of thinking and you will have to use your brain most of the time to take them down. I would know, I'm on the last boss which is actually something more sinister than what the game reveals. There is a lot of exploration through dungeons, but there are also travels between the future and the present and the future will actually alter when you accomplish various quests. From beginning to end, this is the best looking game since Final Fantasy 7 and trust me, the last boss looks as bad ass as Sephiroth. Does anyone know if there'll be a Dark Cloud 3?
