Dark cloud is a surprisingly good game. Its one of my more recent purchases so i haven't played it entirely but from what Ive seen its a relatively good game. At first Dark Cloud seems a bit strange with its weird and long Introduction, but when the game play comes rolling around it can be a pretty fun game. The game is a sort of mix of strategy and rpg. In the beginning we are introduced to the evil characters and our hero. After an attack on your village you are awakened by a spirit who tells you you must save everyone etc. The spirit has scattered parts of your village to keep it safe. Throughout the game you find pieces and people from your village and using what you find you can rebuild your village any way you want. The game has a good weapons system involving upgrading and repairing weapons. It also has allies that you can switch to in the game. The pros to this game would be: Good weapons system, Fund dungeons to explore, cool allies to be, a fun village re-building system, and a good storyline, and lastly a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. Some cons: Staying hydrated during dungeon explorations can be annoying, combat can become a little repetitive, and there's no voices for the characters (but just a little reading solves that). Leaving on a good note Dark Cloud is a Fun and enjoyable game.
