A true masterpiece of its time. A throwback to old RPGs when dying meant something. We who are about to die, salute you.

All I can say is, the replayability of this game is endless. Not only does NG+ get successively harder (on top of its already hard difficulty), pvp and coop can lead to countless more hours. It is inherently replayable in nature, because of the inevitable deaths you will have will force you to replay the level until you succeed :) I hope that rpg developer studios are looking to Dark Souls as standard to work towards. Don't cheapen your games by making them easy with hints and holding their hand towards the end. Dark Souls has so many unique things about it. With the ability to leave clues or tricks for other players stuck at the same level, the several pvp/coop guilds to choose for, the huge open-world experience, being able to see how other players died in the area. There are so many things about this game that focus on the perfect singleplayer experience, but leave a lingering feeling of other players around you. This game will be heralded as a classic (well, it already is) and truly one of the best.
