This is to date (hard for me to state this but true) THE GREATEST GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED.

User Rating: 10 | Dark Souls PS3
Dark Souls, firstly, it will piss you off, just as it did me. You will die, numerous amounts of times. Even if it's your 10th play through, death is inevitable. Dark Souls is also most likely the hardest game ever created. This does not mean it's impossible, but you will spend many MANY hours reading the words "YOU DIED". But enough about the very perplexing way of spelling out failure this game uses. In Dark Souls, your primary objective is to kill Gwyn The Lord of Cinder. You are to do this in any way possible. But the first steps are to ring the two great bells in Lordran. One is atop a church, guarded by a trident-wielding, magic using undead giant priest, mindless zombies, and two fire breathing gargoyles. The other is deep in the Lordran depths guarded by dung monsters, pink eyeless monsters, fire breathing dogs, and a strangely attractive (upper body only) Chaos Witch. And after spending approximately 30 hours on something it could've taken you 2 hours if it were as easy as Skyrim. You have even more mind-bogglingly difficult tasks. Kill Gwyn's right hand men. After you've done that, you may notice that the hours you've logged exceed 100. And after you've killed a giant sword wielding wolf, 5 Magical Gods from the abyss, The legendary scaleless dragon, A giant menacing skeleton death lord, and countless white and black knights, that might I add are much taller than you, You face your most difficult challenge. Defeating Gwyn, restoring power to the gods, (or maybe emphasizing the power of humans by becoming the new lord of cinder). Despite the fact that the lore is almost impossible to follow and, you die literally every two minutes, Dark Souls is a ridiculously addicting, challenging, rewarding, and creative tale of a little fish in a big pond, of things that want you dead.
