Seriously guys, I cant remember feeling the way I do when I play Dark Souls with any other game. Its very hard to describe but the mixture of open world, no direction, hard difficulty and excellent combat is the winning formula that keeps you hooked. When you're not playing it, you think about it all the time which is what I think is what I mean when I say I cant ever remember feeling this way about another game.
It completely absorbs you.
The combat looks hack n slash but its not. Its very precise and you must deploy a lot of skill and time your attacks otherwise you will die even against the weakest foe.
The enemies and bosses are great. The setting is superb. Customisation options are simple enough and the weapons are varied. Since there are no insrtuctions, you will find even after hours of gameplay you are still learning new things.
As I said before, once you're in the game grips you and will not leave go. Buy it. For the very reason that there is nothing like this out there.
