If you played Demon Souls then you will love this game. If you come from playing other RPGs like skyrim , then at first you won't stand a chance against this game. Other RPGs offer very little challenge and none at all once you master them, they usually include mashing buttons quickly and seeing everything die. Unlike other games, every move you make in Dark Souls is key, once you swing your weapon you cant quickly raise your shield to block incoming attacks which makes it very realistic.
Dark Souls is a challenging action RPG and will never stop being one. The bosses will whip you around until you understand the game. Once you do you wont put down the controller. Dark Souls makes you feel like you are part of the action, when you are fighting a giant monster, you feel like you are actually fighting a giant monster.
