(Sigh) What might have been...

The Good: Flying is fun, not spectacular, but fun. Graphics are decent.

Yeah that's about the best I can say about it.

The Bad: Ground combat is horrible, no innovation at all. If they were going to make such lackluster ground combat then why put so much in it? A severe lack of enemy types. You'll encounter only 3 types of flying enemies, and only 3 types of ground enemies (discounting boss types). You would expect some spectacular landscapes to accompany a flying game, but alas, this game only has 2 distinct landscapes ( only 1 you get to fly in) with only minor differences made for appearances. The story is weak, at best. The characters, including the main one, aren't very likable. The game is ridiculously easy. Once you get over the initial learning of flying and ground fighting, you'll hardly ever feel challenged. The final boss battle is an utter disappointment; lackluster and as easy as it gets. If you play slow, you may squeeze 8 hours of gameplay out of this one. If you play quick, you'll be lucky to grab 6 hours.

My biggest gripe about this game is that it's was advertised with the slogan "Fly anywhere." That is complete and utter BS. At no time do you get the opportunity to just fly around and explore. In fact, the only time you can fly at all is during combat, at the end of which you will either transition to more flying combat or ground combat. Try and ignore the combat and go exploring and you will end up failing and start over where you began. I imagined a world you could fly around and explore. If that's what your expecting, prepare for disappointment.

Do yourselves a favor, wait til the price on this drops to five bucks. It's about all it's worth.
