Good ... or so i thought .
№1 : The combat is good but if you go in a hand to hand combat everything stops and watches who'll win and enemy winning isn't an option because you are the only one hitting enemies don't even try to defend they just stay still while you trash their heads .
№2 : The air combat is fairly acceptable once you get used to it problem is you do get used to it at the last boss which is kind of pointless if you don't go for replaying the game.
№3 : The time you spend on the game from start to end on 1st try on normal difficulty is roughly 5 hours including all the times you die with the rocket pack because of the controls ,and although it takes like 4 and a half hours of the game to get used to them it's not very useful since you cant use the rocket pack in closed spaces or you risk to smash your skull and splatter your brains all over the place .
№4 : The story is acceptable but is told to short to fast . You don't quite understand what is it ,that those " collectors " want why don't they want humans to get nuclear power, where did they come from , how did humans seal them in the void , who exactly are you, what is your part in all of this why are you the "key " how did the opposition know you are going to be in the pilot , aren't the collectors the once who brought you to the void rather than the " opposition ",what are the so called adepts that are supposed to be some psychics from what I get and eventually in the last 30 seconds of the game you turn to be one of them MAYBE ? . And many many many many other unanswered questions .
№5 : There is absolutely nothing else you can do beside follow the story line which sort of makes it pointless to have an open world game ,because there is nothing to do in the rest of the world .
№6 :Everyone besides you deals no damage , in the event you see some enemy being killed by a friendly go to the closest place you can play the lottery . It really happens like 10 times in the game although you are almost constantly swarmed with enemies of all kinds .
№7 : Your aim the thing that causes most trouble on the "archon" fights the thing is so lightly colored when you have something lighter on background it's impossible to see , and if there is an explosion the only way to know where it is is to follow the trail of bullets .
So much for the bad sides ,before i make you give up on the game.
The Good parts , really dynamic combat , you can do bunch of stuff , and mainly you can basically use everything your enemies can , you can grab a heavy machine gun from a dead "knight" and use it to bring down hell although it's slow on the start it's almost unstoppable , except when your ammo runs out, next you can hijack every 1 man piloted aircraft there is even your friendlies , you can man the AA guns of both friends and enemies ( excluding the once that you have to destroy after the "Arc " is complete ).
Also the climbing up and down is awesome at least I've never seen anything like that before and actually very little games give you the ability to fight while climbing , also climbing downward is very nicely done although at some moments i thought Will( the protagonist ) is going to seriously break a leg or two or maybe even his neck , but i doesn't happen thank god .
There are some pretty flashy moves you can do both while airborne and on ground , sadly only on harder enemies but it's still nice to see how you punch a big alien in the eye ( receptor or laser or whatever it is ) .
So basically the game is good although it could have been a MUCH MUCH better one , and if you haven't given up on it yet play it, you probably wont regret it , just don't buy it , it's not worth the money for 5 hours game play roughly if you play casually .
It's 5.5 from me because of the low time to play and unexplained story .
