Originally I bought this game because of the cheap price (8$), but I ended up really liking it more than I expected.
Story (7/10)
At first the story seemed really cliche, a plane flies over the Bermuda Triangle and gets lost in some alternate dimension. But even so, I found myself getting sucked into the plot as it developed further. I also enjoyed the fact that Nikola Tesla was a key character, a real scientist from the 20th century that I am a fan of. In the game, you also collect letter fragments from people that were lost in the Bermuda Triangle, and they are interesting to read as another side part of the story. My only problem with the story was its relative shortness.
Art (9/10)
The graphics were fairly good in this game. The scenery was detailed, as well as the characters. No complaints here.
Characters (6/10)
The main character wasn't very interesting, in my opinion. There is a subplot in which the main character had a past relationship with another character, and it ended badly. Then in the game there are moments where their feelings come back, and that created drama that really bored me.
Gameplay (9/10)
The gameplay in this game becomes increasingly better as you progress. At first you don't have many weapon choices and you can't jump very high. But as you get upgrades for your weapons they become extremely powerful, and you can also collect other kinds as you pick them up from dead Watchers. And pretty soon into the game you aquire the jetpack, and with that, the ability of vertical combat. At first it still can't jump very high, but that can be upgraded as well. Eventually the jetpack is changed an you become able to fly at any point you want to. This is handy when you want to speed across a map quickly or are fighting Watcher ships.
Overall 8/10. The vertical combat was a major plus for this game, where you hang off a cliff and fight bad guys, but the weak characters and the short story bring down the score to an 8.
