Dark Wizard is a game that can be played on many levels. The beauty of the game is that you don't need to get bogged down by troop and town management if you don't want to. The game is purely in your hands. If you want to breeze through it you can and it is still rewarding, if you really want to get one of your fighters up to Shinobi status than you can, but you don't need to. The only downside of the game is the hideous battle animations but the game even lets you turn those off and gives you great in game animations. This is the game that compels me to leave my Sega CD plugged in even now.
