Ive neva played a dark stalkers game and this was also my first PSP game. At first i wasnt to sure but the game really grows on you. Once you have the basic controls mastered its next time to learn the special attacks which is a mission its itself. If your into beat em up this is a definate must have. But if you want my person advice id say wait for street fighter alpha to come out.
I havnt really played dark stalkers at a arcade or anything so i cant really compare it to any other games but overall its a fun, fairly addictive and yet challenging game.

  Old school 2D fighter sports a great aesthetic but suffers a bit from the PSP's unwielding D-pad.
