Darkstalkers: Chronicle - Chaos Tower is a very good 2D fighter that any fan of the genre would respect. The characters are crazy, different and fun to play with. The game play is fast and crazy as any fan would hope it would be. Everything in this package from the moves to the very level you play on are different in their own little way. Their really are only two bad things about this game, the controls and the fact that there is a better fighting game out there. The thing about the controls are is that they don’t feel like when you push a button the character performs the act that you are trying to do. They just feel like they are a second off. The other thing is that Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max is just a down right better deal. More characters, tighter controls and just an all around better 2D fighter but Darkstalkers is cheaper than Alpha 3. You can get Darkstalkers used right now for $20 bucks and Alpha 3 is $40 bucks new. So if you’re the kind of person that like to wait for the price to drop on a game. Then Darkstalkers is the perfect game to wait with.
