Very fun space combat and intergalactic trading/smuggling/pirating/bounty hunting game! I wish there was a part 2!

This story driven game has it all for a space combat oriented game. Upgrade-able ship, "skill-tree," and various ship parts (engines, shield,s guns, rockets and etc.). The controls are extra smooth and responsive. The game is unhindered by any play issues. It's simply a fun game and without any errors. The game is a fresh breath of air from all the fps and rpgs. The graphics are definitely dated but it works. You can definitely see the outmoded graphics in the cut-scenes, but it doesn't take anything away from the game. Its also in the bargain bin so its cheap. If you're into space combat and yearn for games like FREELANCER than this is definitely for you. The only thing I can legitimately complain about was the lack of literature. I had to Google my way through the mechanics of the game. A bit of a distraction but not a deal breaker. I hope they make a part 2.
