Good game but it is jut toooooooo short

Darkwatch is good shooter game, it is intense at times but mainly it disappoints. The idea of a vampire cowboy is fresh and imaginative but on the other hand it could have been better executed. The storyline lack some depth and I could not help but loose interest in the main character after a while. Darkwatch as the name implies is a dark, gloomy game and the graphics convey that and put you in the mood. The environments are generally well designed and nicely detailed. The game visually stands out especially for a relatively outdated console. The musical score was OK; still it lets you down from time to time. One of the good things that the game designer team got right was the sound effects; they are creepy and get to you. I especially was rather tense playing the cemetery segment, it was extremely eerie. I could not help but like the fresh ideas of the game and admire the presentation. One of the game big problems is it is rather short and doesn't show any real challenge. For those who are insanely in love with the shooter genre might have a tremendous fun playing Darkwatch. The whole experience was enjoyable; nonetheless I mostly wanted to finish it.
